About the role
- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis
- Apply Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts across contracts and control accounts within engineering IPTs
- Lead and train other analysts on full level 1 Earned Value contracts
- Establish Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled
- Assess and maintain objective performance criteria; develop, maintain, analyze and justify estimates to complete
- Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis and budgeting baseline
- Maintain cost and schedule integration with business partners and program teams
- Analyze funding, perform cost risk analysis/assessment and prepare visibility reports
- Prepare government cost performance reports and review Performance measurement variance analysis
- Support preparation and coordination of monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes
- Provide internal reporting including incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective actions using program reporting tools
- Interface with Business Managers to support booking rate files and profitability updates
Requirements
- Master's degree with 3 years experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience (Level 3)
- Master's degree with 6 years experience OR Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience (Level 4)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm
- Experience with EAC development and analysis
- Experience with MPM and/or Cobra
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Active DOD Secret clearance and Special Program Access required to start
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- Ability to use financial systems, with understanding of DoD financial rhythms
- Ability to analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques
- Good leadership skills & ability to lead a smaller team and train other analysts
- Ability to interface with program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs), Business Managers
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 10% of the time
