About the role

  • Developing the MDOD GSC strategy aligned with the division and sector business and operations strategies
  • Cultivating Strategic Supplier Partnerships through collaboration with BD, Strategy and tier 1/tier 2 suppliers
  • Leading MDOD critical captures
  • Leveraging supplier investments in key discriminating technologies/advanced processes
  • Partnering with Functional, Sector GSC, and Division GSC Leaders to develop program/Business unit strategies and plans
  • Collaborating with Supplier Performance Management, Procurement, and Mission Assurance
  • Hosting Sector Supplier Leadership Conference
  • Maintaining Sector Make/Buy Strategy in collaboration with Strategy and Engineering
  • Defining future GSC strategic supply base

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 8 + years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related functions – OR – Master’s degree with 6 + years of experience
  • Experience in a Manager role
  • Experience managing managers
  • Well versed in FAR, DFARS, and overall government contracting regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated supplier or Customer negotiation and management experience
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)
