About the role
- Oversee development and maintenance of the sector’s historical cost and technical database.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data integrity, while delivering to the project objectives.
- Collect, normalize, and analyze data from internal and external sources.
- Produce data visualizations and relational analyses to support decision‑making.
- Generate business‑ready metrics and insights through statistical and regression analysis.
- Support cost‑studies by delivering analytical results and actionable recommendations.
- Understand drivers in proprietary and commercial parametric models.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in cost modeling and/or data engineering – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ year of professional experience in cost modeling and/or data engineering.
- Database design/SQL experience.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, negotiating and problem solving with a wide range of functions and people.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
