About the role

  • Lead the software engineering team managing design, architecture, development, and administration of embedded and real time systems
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile software development environment
  • Support Program Management in new business opportunities including capture, SOW shaping, technology evaluations, authoring white papers, and bidding proposals
  • Manage the baselining of new software efforts including planning and earned value management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of related engineering experience OR Master’s degree in STEM with 10 years experience OR PhD in STEM with 8 years experience
  • Experience leading software teams with at least 10+ software engineers
  • Experience w/ Atlassian Tool Suite; Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, Opsgenie
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
