About the role
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects
- Serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
- Provide guidance and statement of work to shop floor technicians
- Maintain and develop cost and schedule analysis charts to help support managerial direction
- Drive strategic initiatives and tactical actions that deliver results to improve program cost and schedule performance
- Ensure program milestones and performance goals are achieved
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Project Management related experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years' experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Project Management related experience
- 2 years of proven experience leading teams and/or projects
- Experience Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
- Ability to Travel 10-20% domestically to support business need
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Special Program access within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
