About the role

  • Responsible for the accurate review and sign-off of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
  • Act as the subject matter expert for fund-specific requirements within the team
  • Play a key leadership role in driving system enhancements and procedural improvements
  • Coordinate rollout of system enhancements and ensure effective adoption across the team
  • Act as a key liaison, collating feedback from the Fund Accounting function
  • Provide informed input to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and coordinate system testing activities within the team
  • Represent the team on cross-functional process improvements and project deliverables
  • Mentor and support individuals during projects and assignments
  • Identify, delegate, and manage projects and assignments
  • Provide clear progression feedback and support to individuals and project teams
  • Contribute to the development of the department’s long-term strategy

Requirements

  • Prior fund accounting experience or relevant operational/accounting experience preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting systems is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the fund accounting industry, with particular knowledge of NT systems, infrastructure, and process/data flows
  • Experience working with market data and pricing vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters) is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and internal/external client service skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management capability
  • Strong understanding of how fund accounting systems interface with other platforms, including experience implementing or supporting such integrations
  • Proven client service orientation with a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, and organise own workload
  • Willingness to support colleagues and contribute beyond immediate team responsibilities
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant standards, procedures, and controls
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
