About the role
- Oversee all milieu activities
- Provide leadership, supervision and evaluation of program staff
- Assist the Clinician in creation of psychosocial assessments and treatment plans for the youth
- Connect with the parents of the enrolled children to provide updates on their child’s progress
- Manage risk issues of program staff as well as the children
- Evaluate the training needs of the program
- Represent the program at appropriate Department of Mental Health meetings and any school based or care coordination meetings for the enrolled child
Requirements
- Master’s degree in related field required
- Experience with children with behavior problems or serious emotional disturbances
- Previous experience in therapeutic after-school setting, day treatment, and/or residential program preferred
- A valid Massachusetts driver’s license required with minimum three (3) years driving history required
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to become certified within 3 months of hire.
