About the role
- Work directly with individuals and staff to ensure that the needs of the Individuals living in the group home are met in all areas of service
- Supervise the house basic systems such as ISP and clinical plan implementation
- Ensure community integration, medication administration, laundry, shopping, and menu/meal planning
- Ensure the maintenance and safety of the group home
- With the Program Manager, recruit, hire, train, assign, direct, counsel, discipline and evaluate performance of the Group Home DSP Staff
- Maintain positive and regular communication with Individual’s family members
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Experience: Three (3) years of related direct support experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Skills: Must obtain Massachusetts MAP & CPR/First Aide certifications within five (5) continuous months of hire (training provided)
- Valid Mass driver’s license required
