About the role

  • Responsible for overall management, execution, and performance of a Department of Defense (DoD) STEM education and workforce development contract supporting national defense initiatives
  • Provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership to ensure successful delivery of STEM outreach, application processing, evaluation, financial administration, data management, reporting, and workshop execution services in accordance with federal regulations and contract requirements
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with the Government Program Manager (GPM), Contracting Officer (CO), and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and is accountable for all contract deliverables, personnel management, and program outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, public administration, education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of program or project management experience supporting federal or DoD programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-task federal contracts
  • Experience overseeing education, STEM, workforce development, or research support programs
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting environments and compliance requirements
  • Proven leadership managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with financial oversight, reporting, and program analytics
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
