About the role
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement new process techniques and procedures
- Continuously analyze manufacturing process flows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput
- Collaborate with suppliers to define product specifications, arrange procurement of parts/materials, and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to develop and deliver technical training for staff
- Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production
- Design and approve tooling prior to fabrication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Basic math skills, including the ability to read/write small numbers and perform arithmetic calculations
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and responding quickly to issues.
