About the role

  • Ensure a safe, supportive working environment that fosters personal and professional growth within the department
  • Lead and develop the Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to meet the organizational quality objectives and drive continuous improvement
  • Support the development of technical direction for products, processes, and market needs
  • Collaborate in business planning and contribute to overall company strategy
  • Participate in decision-making processes related to operational and quality initiatives
  • Assist in developing strategic plans supporting long-term product, service and production capabilities
  • Identify emerging customers and market needs and support strategies to address them
  • Apply experience in the metals industry or heavy manufacturing to strengthen quality practices
  • Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex quality issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the aluminum extrusion industry
  • Strong background in Quality Management with hands-on experience in quality and systems processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Automotive TS16949 or similar automotive quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and customer- relationship skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
