About the role
- Designs and implements industrial control systems
- Provides change control and troubleshoots automated equipment
- Modifies existing control systems and supports customer projects
- Programs and optimizes industrial robots and PLCs
- Leads and supports continuous improvement projects
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement automation upgrades
- Supports installation and commissioning of new automated systems
- Creates and maintains documentation for equipment, programs, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related
- 3+ years of hands on experience with PLC programming (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable systems)
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or mechanical engineering
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and practices, including smart automation, real-time data analytics, and interconnected manufacturing systems
