About the role
- Be part of a professional Internal Control network in our global organization.
- Work to lift and develop the effectiveness and efficiency of Hydro’s reporting.
- Maintain and develop Hydro’s internal control over financial and sustainability reporting (ICSR).
- Promote and drive Hydro’s improvement agenda in finance and sustainability network.
- Evaluate sources of reporting risk and errors in Hydro’s reporting processes.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure risk mitigation and quality reporting.
- Act as point of contact for internal control related matters.
- Coordinate the yearly Internal Control Forum and other competence activities.
- Increase Hydro’s internal control maturity in ESG (sustainability) reporting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering with Sustainability focus).
- 5 years’ working experience in auditing and/or finance organization, experience from international listed company is an advantage.
- Experience in internal control activities within large international corporations.
- Proven capabilities as a project manager, ability to navigate in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, familiarity with reporting applications is a bonus.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Norwegian or Portuguese is advantageous.
