About the role

  • Technical responsibility and active involvement in migrating our SAP systems to the cloud via SAP RISE
  • Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager and BusinessObjects
  • Planning and execution of patch and upgrade management, system updates and service pack installations
  • Conducting performance analyses, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimization measures
  • Establishing, maintaining and further developing an SAP monitoring system (job and IDoc monitoring, automations, queues)
  • Management of SAP authorization roles in compliance with company policies
  • Support with system and client copies, migrations as well as backup and recovery processes
  • Technical support for other SAP projects and close collaboration with business departments
  • Documentation of systems, processes and technical procedures

Requirements

  • Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration preferred
  • Experience with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of authorization management; experience with XITING is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, team orientation and good communication skills
  • Structured, reliable work style and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage
