About the role

  • Planning, designing, operating and maintaining a Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environment
  • 2nd-level support, operation and administration of our XenServer virtualization environment
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Citrix systems and Windows Servers in accordance with current security standards (Zero Trust)
  • Consulting, planning and implementation of projects in the Citrix and Windows Server environment (3rd-level support)
  • Administration and further development of the Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy)
  • Incident, problem and change management
  • Project-oriented and cross-team collaboration within IT

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, a degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on Citrix
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server environment, including Domain Controllers and related services
  • Experience with Exchange (Hybrid), virtualization (XenServer) or release and patch management is desirable
  • Structured, independent and service-oriented working style
  • Very good written and spoken German
