About the role

  • Direct and motivate on-site teams to achieve operational targets and exceed customer expectations

  • Empower teams through structured training programs focused on safety, quality, and customer service
  • Improve operational performance by analyzing downtime trends and reallocating resources
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all site activities in compliance with company standards
  • Manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables including the management of specialty tools that require calibrations
  • Manage subcontractors and third-party providers, ensuring adherence to Nordex standards and timelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school Diploma/GED required
  • 4-Year University or Engineering Degree Preferred
  • Advanced technical knowledge of wind turbine operations and maintenance, combined with leadership experience (2–5 years in a supervisory role)
  • 6 - 7 years’ experience in power generation equipment support with 3 years concentration in the wind turbine operations and maintenance required
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong skills in strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
  • Exceptional communication and influencing abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in building team culture, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement
  • Ability to travel domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport
  • Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy
  • Ability to meet specific OSHA and ANSI weight limits of 265 lbs. or less
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner
