About the role

  • Operational responsibility for a clearly defined geographic area with more than 100 wind turbines
  • Line and technical leadership of service technicians and technical specialists
  • Responsible for operations, plant availability and customer satisfaction, including related communications
  • Planning and oversight of repair deployments and service activities, including material allocation and documentation in SAP
  • Identifying training and tooling needs of technicians
  • Responsible for implementing measures to improve workplace safety and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Completed vocational technical training and additional qualification such as Meister or Fachwirt (master craftsman or business specialist)
  • At least 5 years' professional experience, including approximately 3 years in a leadership role
  • Willingness to travel
  • Responsible for plant availability and customer satisfaction
  • Experienced in working with internal and external customers and in service processes (technician deployment planning, service order management, material ordering)
  • Good MS Office and SAP skills
  • Strong competence in planning methodology (especially deployment planning), organization and ability to work under pressure
  • High awareness of workplace safety
