About the role
- Act as the technical representative for Installation & Commissioning within product development and work closely with regional teams
- Consolidate all technical requirements from other Nordex teams (O2 team, Supervision, Commissioning and regional teams) into a clear deliverable
- Ensure the technical implementation of these requirements within the Product Development Process (PEP)
- Provide electrical expertise during development, prototype and installation phases of new products, tools or processes
- Participate in SE team meetings as the central I&C stakeholder and coordinate the involvement of relevant technical parties
- Manage prototypes, interior and mock-up tests on site as the I&C focal point
- Analyze findings from prototypes and track the implementation of technical improvements
- Develop new technical solutions to optimize installation and commissioning technologies and support cost-reduction initiatives
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 3–5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in technical development projects; experience as a Site Manager is desirable
- Experience with CAD/PLM systems (Teamcenter, AutoCAD), MS Office, MS Project and SAP
- Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style and ability to collaborate in international teams
- Strong communication skills and fluent English, both written and spoken
- Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese or German) are an advantage
