About the role

  • Lead, coach, and train a team of AP accountants
  • Assign workload and monitor productivity and performance
  • Conduct onboarding and performance reviews
  • Foster a collaborative work environment across Finance team
  • Handle the full AP cycle from invoice submission to payment
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare AP performance dashboards and reports for management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as an AP Team Lead or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounting principles
  • Experience in implementing AP automated tools or systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision/BC is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
