About the role
- Overseeing and managing the implementation of safety policies
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing department staff
- Implementing risk assessment processes and incident investigation protocols
- Preparing and submitting required regulatory reports and documentation
- Leading initiatives to improve safety culture and employee engagement
- Conducting field visits and site inspections for compliance
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HS&E experience
- 1 year in leadership role in high-hazard construction
- OSHA 30 required
- OSHA 500 preferred
- CHST, CHSO or similar safety certifications strongly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of construction HS&E standards
- Proficiency in computer-based programs (e.g., Word, Excel, SharePoint)
