About the role

  • Provide non-binding political analysis and strategic advice relevant to SUSTAIN implementation
  • Strengthen adaptive programming through risk analysis, scenario planning, and early-warning insights
  • Ensure training, knowledge products, and communications meet conflict-sensitivity and do-no-harm standards
  • Provide technical advisory guidance to inform mentorship and leadership-support approaches within project activities
  • Support project-level stakeholder engagement strategies and knowledge management for adaptive learning

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with peace process stakeholders in the Bangsamoro or comparable conflict-affected contexts
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, mediation support, political analysis, normalization, or related governance processes
  • Demonstrated ability to engage conflict-affected communities, former combatants, local leaders, or civil society actors in advisory, analytical, or programmatic roles
  • Experience providing technical, analytical, or advisory support to peacebuilding, governance, humanitarian, or development initiatives
  • Working knowledge of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) or demonstrated experience with comparable peace agreements
  • Proven capacity to provide neutral, non-partisan advice to diverse stakeholders, including government actors, community leaders, civil society, and international partners.
