About the role

  • Keep metrics for daily and weekly production moves targets
  • Convert device development roadmaps to actionable epi process development/improvement plans
  • Drive development plans to completion
  • Identify longer-term projects or key technologies for future device needs
  • Analyze and model device data tying back to epi processes to improve yields and performance
  • Automate analytic processes to streamline and tighten epi distributions
  • Collaborate in a close-knit team environment

Requirements

  • Fresh PhD in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science with strong emphasis in optoelectronic devices
  • 0-2+ years industry experience in InP based optoelectronic epitaxy and devices is strongly preferred
  • Fundamental compound semiconductor epitaxy experience
  • Strong understanding of device performance to epitaxy process and design
  • Aptitude to data query, perform statistical analysis, and present data and ideas to a diverse audience
  • Must be able to lead and drive projects whether individual or part of a team
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
