About the role

  • Own the metrology control plan for critical characteristics aligned to CTQs/CTPs.
  • Build, qualify, and standardize metrology/inspection recipes.
  • Lead MSA (GR&R, bias/linearity, stability) and calibration governance.
  • Partner with Integration, Process, Equipment, and Production to improve yield and reduce escapes.
  • Optimize sampling, relieve bottlenecks, and improve recipe cycle time.
  • Maintain documentation and train technicians.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Engineering/Physics or related field.
  • 5+ years in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing metrology.
  • Experience with CD‑SEM, ellipsometry, profilometry, XRF/XRD, AOI.
  • Image analytics and defect classification.
  • Strong SPC/MSA/DOE knowledge; data analysis with JMP/Python.
  • High-volume manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is preferred.
