About the role
- Lead a team of engineers that will develop, integrate and test complex VoLTE features in CNCS for some of the top CSPs in the world.
- Own functional areas and components and be responsible for their quality, future design and enhancements.
- Interact with Architects, System Test experts, Project Managers, Peer Line managers to make releases happen.
- Lead from front in engaging with Customers, Customer facing teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and providing RCA and internalizing the learnings.
- Ensure a vibrant work environment, set targets, be a mentor and get the best out of the team.
Requirements
- Atleast 12 years of experience in Networking or Telecommunications Networks
- More than 4 years of experience in directly leading teams as a Manager, or as a Scrum Master.
- Strong leadership and execution skills keeping Quality, Timeline and Customer needs at the forefront.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams across RnDs with good communication skills
- Experience with Agile frameworks and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and Continuous Delivery
- Good knowledge of SIP, Diameter and Telecom Domain Knowledge (VoLTE, IMS)
- Experienced in Cloud and Cloud Native Technologies (Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Consul, Redis, Helm, Envoy)
- Proven experience in Development or Testing of large, complex features
- Team player with proven ability to work in a diverse team environment to achieve stiff and challenging targets
