About the role
- Build customer relationships by providing innovative solutions and products.
- Identify, establish, and maintain sales opportunities including account management and relationships with agencies.
- Develop and implement a sales plan and geographic strategy.
- Interact with customers daily through various communication methods.
- Provide price estimates, product specifications, and answer general customer questions.
- Manage and report weekly sales opportunities, quotes, and orders.
- Travel to client locations and attend events to cultivate sales opportunities.
- Learn and utilize CRM and ERP systems for processing quotes and orders.
- Prepare reports and maintain sales records according to deadlines.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to enhance overall performance.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative.
- Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting.
- Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement.
- Ability to complete work within given deadlines with little supervision.
- Ability to carry out skillful negotiations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain security clearance, if required.
