Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure accurate requisitions.
Conduct initial screening calls, technical assessments, and behavioral interviews.
Promote and implement diversity hiring initiatives to ensure diverse candidate pools.
Manage multiple job openings simultaneously and maintain positive candidate engagement with timely feedback.
Document candidate dispositions and responses in the applicant tracking system.
Communicate with applicants via verbal, Teams chat, texting, and email.
Manage Affirmative Action recruitment requirements and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of technical recruiting experience and leadership role.
Understanding of technical recruitment and government contracting.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent understanding of HR systems and recruitment systems; proficiency in applicant tracking and HRIS systems (currently Bamboo HR).
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate management platforms.
Understanding of data science, analytics, GIS analytics and applications, infrastructure and cloud engineering, DevSecOps, Software Development, and AI.
Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing technical talent through various channels (social media, job boards, direct outreach).
Ability to lead and manage recruitment staff.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and ability to maintain diversity needs and ensure there is no adverse impact; promote diversity hiring initiatives.
Experience managing Affirmative Action recruitment requirements and maintaining documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Excellent attention to detail; ability to set and meet deadlines; self-sufficient with little direct supervision.
Must be available to work during Eastern Standard hours and flexible to work during candidates' time zones.
