About the role
- We are seeking temporary maternity leave coverage for our People Operations team. The assignment duration will be 6 months.
The People Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Responsible for the efficient administration of onboarding, offboarding, and related processes, focusing on process improvements.
Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries through the FreshService ticketing system.
Administer the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding; partner with Recruitment, HRBPs, and Total Rewards.
Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Champion the use of automation and technology to optimize HR workflows.
Master HRIS and ATS systems, ensuring data integrity.
Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Assist with audits and provide evidence.
Pull standard reports from ATS & HRIS.
Create and maintain internal FAQs/knowledge base.
Maintain a global perspective, focusing on scale to deliver consistent results.
Ad-hoc reporting and additional projects based on team needs.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Business Administration, HR or related field
3-5 years of experience within operations; preferably within a global HR or Recruitment function
Competent using technologyExperience maintaining electronic employee files and utilizing an ATS and HRIS for data management
Ability to look at processes from a global perspective
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent communication skills
