About the role
- Assist government agency in developing and implementing Environmental Program policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Perform reviews and recommend changes to Environmental Management policies.
- Review environmental compliance checklist(s) and recommend modifications.
- Review and assist with Environmental Program training content; conduct training classes.
- Review state and local environmental regulations impacting agency operations.
Requirements
- US Citizen with ability to obtain public trust
- Bachelor's Degree in environmentally related field
- At least 1 year of experience in environmental work (i.e., environmental compliance, policy development, regulatory analysis, environmental auditing)
- Ability to work independently and engage with team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to support travel (10-20%) to three states in the south.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
