About the role

  • Own Nium’s regulatory licensing strategy across Latin America
  • Lead new market entry across priority countries
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Treasury, Tech, Ops, and Commercial teams
  • Execute Nium’s LATAM license roadmap
  • Identify optimal route to market based on regulatory environment
  • Lead licensing strategy and regulatory engagement in each target market
  • Establish local entities and create hiring plans based on license requirements
  • Track budgets, risks, timelines, and report to Head of Global Expansion

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the legal, compliance or consulting space
  • Strong experience in fintech, payments, e-money, cards, or stablecoins
  • Proven experience managing licensing projects in LATAM markets
  • Strong understanding of regional regulatory frameworks covering payments and electronic money
  • Experience working with regulators
  • Strong commercial and project management skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required
