About the role
- Craft, refine, and optimize the Enterprise Restaurant Operations Compound Software using Ruby-on-Rails
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to build features
- Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, tools, and processes
- Tackle challenging problems including performance optimization and new feature implementation
- Engage in full-time on-site work with flexibility for odd hours to meet deadlines
- Play a pivotal role as part of the founding development team shaping the platform
- Work on scalable, robust, and efficient backend systems and infrastructure
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong preference for Ruby on Rails (RoR)
- Proven track record of building and maintaining complex applications
- Strong understanding of web development principles
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL
- Proficiency with Redis for caching and data structure storage
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise with AWS cloud services
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure
- Willingness to work odd hours and potentially non-9-to-5 schedule
- Ability to work on-site in Bangkok and collaborate closely with team
- Excellent collaboration and team-oriented skills
