About the role
- Strategize: Shape the vision and technical roadmap of the Enterprise Restaurant Operations SaaS solution, driving innovation and scalability across the platform
- Architect: Design, implement, and refine robust, scalable solutions in Ruby-on-Rails, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional leaders, including product managers and designers, to define and prioritize high-impact features
- Innovate: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools to enhance performance, security, and efficiency
- Problem-Solve: Address complex challenges with strategic, forward-thinking solutions, balancing technical trade-offs and business requirements
- Commit: Drive the success of key initiatives, adapting to changing priorities and ensuring timely delivery of mission-critical projects
- Craft, refine, and optimize the platform using Ruby-on-Rails, including performance optimization and implementing new features
- Be fully engaged in on-site work while supporting a hybrid workstyle and participating in team processes and sprints
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails (RoR)
- Proven track record of building and maintaining complex applications
- Strong understanding of web development principles
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL
- Proficiency with Redis for caching and data structure storage
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Expertise with AWS cloud services
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure
- Hardcore developer mindset, ready to dive deep into code
- Willingness to work odd hours and go the extra mile
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
