About the role
- Assist in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends in financial data and present findings to the accounting team
- Provide support to users of accounting software, answering questions and resolving issues
- Develop and implement training materials and documentation for accounting software users
- Collaborate within the accounting function to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Assist in testing and implementing new accounting software and financial systems
- Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines for accounting projects
- Participate in the successful implementation of accounting projects as they arise
Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing an Accounting degree and/or certifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of accounting software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks or SAP) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team
