About the role
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business unit goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and industry insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic and operational plans; identify potential M&A or strategic partnerships.
- Provide guidance on strategic initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead an inclusive strategic planning process that engages all stakeholders.
- Define and track KPIs to measure success and drive accountability.
- Coordinate strategic planning meetings and present progress updates to leadership.
- Build strategies to identify new business opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and partners showcasing our value proposition.
- Partner with marketing and product development teams to drive revenue growth.
- Track progress against goals and adapt strategies as needed.
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices in business development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in banking, consulting, or accounting, with exposure to strategic planning or business development.
- Strong interest in market trends, industry insights, and business strategy.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Proven leadership skills and experience leading teams.
- Solid understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles.
