About the role

  • Drive delivery of high-impact features for the supplier integration platform and Connect API (80% product management, 20% technical validation)
  • Read, understand, and challenge supplier specifications; translate business requirements into high-level technical specifications
  • Validate technical approaches through POCs when needed and support technical decision making
  • Navigate competing demands from internal teams, partners, and suppliers; facilitate trade-offs and protect engineering capacity
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for the integration platform, prioritizing adoption, reduced complexity, and improved developer experience
  • Treat the Connect API and integration tools as products with metrics and adoption goals
  • Work closely with engineering, tech lead, delivery manager, and other product teams to ensure platform capabilities deliver business value
  • Report to a senior product leader and receive mentorship; collaborate in a hybrid Lisbon office several days per week

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in engineering, technical roles, or technical product management
  • Ability to read and write code for POCs and technical validation
  • Proficiency with APIs, integrations, and modern development practices
  • Familiarity with developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
  • Product management fundamentals: stakeholder prioritization, scope management, and trade-off facilitation
  • Strong technical comprehension: read/understand technical documentation and challenge architectural decisions
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing without direct authority
  • Exceptional communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and strong written documentation
  • Execution focus: identify underlying needs, spot patterns, and deliver features efficiently
  • Comfort with ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Engineering background or technical foundation preferred
