About the role

  • Working Hours Monday to Friday: 9:30 am to 6:00 PM Pacific; Participate in 24/7 call rotation after hours or weekends; Provide client support via telephone and e-mail including returning calls, emails, inquiries; Address system alerts generated by NexusTek's monitoring systems; Maintain administrative competencies of NOC tools and products including backup, disaster recovery, AV, spam, patching solutions, DNS, SSL-Certs, DRaaS, FWaaS, onboarding, and offboarding; Perform root cause analysis to completion and resolution; Maintain comprehensive notes in ConnectWise and update cases until resolved; Identify alerts that can be tuned; Identify and propose new ideas for improving department effectiveness; Own and manage escalated support cases; Perform automation and scripting; Troubleshoot technologies including Backup and disaster recovery, AV, Spam, Patching, DNS, SSL-Certs, DRaaS, FWaaS, Windows Server, Office 365, Multisite/stretched datacenter environments; Use MSP applications like ConnectWise, N-Able, and IT Glue; May require certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+, Microsoft Entry Level Certification: Windows Server or Azure.

  • Ability to participate in 24/7 call rotation; Provide excellent client support via telephone and e-mail; Address system alerts from NexusTek's monitoring systems; Maintain administrative competencies of NOC tools (backup, disaster recovery, AV, spam, patching, DNS, SSL-Certs, DRaaS, FWaaS, onboarding/offboarding); Perform root cause analysis; Maintain notes in ConnectWise; Identify alert tuning opportunities; Own and manage escalated support cases; Perform automation and scripting; Troubleshooting skills in Backup and disaster recovery, AV, Spam, Patching, DNS, SSL-Certs, DRaaS, FWaaS, Windows Server, Office 365, Multisite datacenter environments; MSP applications like ConnectWise, N-Able, IT Glue desirable; One or more certifications may be required: CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+; Microsoft Entry Level Certification: Windows Server or Azure.
