About the role

  • Contribute to constant innovation by identifying and implement new solutions and tools to improve IT infrastructure and application automation, availability, and security
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networks, and cloud systems to ensure smooth operation
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates of software and hardware systems, ensuring peak performance
  • Administer Azure Entra ID, group policies, user permissions, and access controls
  • Support end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing timely resolutions
  • Manage Pune Office IT operations and support (e,g, laptop assignment, vendor management, contract negotiations)
  • Ensure compliance with IT and data governance policies, documenting processes and maintaining necessary documentation
  • Monitor network and system activity using security tools (preferably Datadog, MS Defender) to detect potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Support security investigation alerts, incidents, and breaches, document findings and coordinating responses.
  • Update, maintain, and enforce IT security policies and procedures, educating staff on security best practices.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Security teams to conduct regular penetration testing, patch management, and incident response exercises.
  • Participate in project and scrum planning prioritization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
  • Manage/Implement periodic reporting KPI’s on platform performance, availability and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
  • At least 6-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably Azure/Google Cloud experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud infrastructure
  • Foundational knowledge in Containerization, and Kubernetes
  • Fundamental understanding of basic networking concepts including VPN, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, and Load-Balancing
  • Foundational knowledge of security operations, any technologies such as Splunk or Datadog is a plus.
  • Must have a passion for learning and strong desire to understand enterprise architecture and infrastructure design fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of security concepts including access control, directory services, and authentication/integration (OAuth, SAML, and OpenID)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and self-learning initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred certification in Microsoft Azure Administration, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH
