• Own the sales strategy and revenue targets for Nexus One, from pipeline generation through close

Platform Engineer

• Formulate and apply mathematical and statistical models to evaluate the performance of NexusOne's cross-estate data orchestration layer, identifying optimization opportunities across identity management, governance enforcement, and data pipeline execution.
• Define data requirements, gather and validate quantitative information from NexusOne's operational environment, and apply statistical methods to assess platform performance, pipeline throughput, and governance policy compliance across client deployments.
• Present the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to client stakeholders and delivery leadership, translating quantitative findings into platform configuration recommendations and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and client delivery teams to identify and solve complex data operational problems — including legacy system modernization, AI pipeline readiness, and cross-estate governance gaps — using NexusOne as the enabling platform.
• Prepare technical and management reports evaluating data operational problems, analyzing solution alternatives, and recommending NexusOne configurations that meet client performance, compliance, and AI readiness requirements.

Operations Research, Data Platform Engineer

Account Executive

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or industry verticals. Utilize market research, networking, and cold-calling techniques to generate leads and establish initial contact with potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision makers. Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to effectively propose tailored data and AI solutions that address their business requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to present comprehensive product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition of our Data and AI solutions. Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.

Sales Engineer

• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams supporting new and existing customer pursuits to articulate NX1 capabilities/differentiators, define solution options/benefits, and identify modernization opportunities for client-specific workloads
• Propose solution architecture and articulate benefits of NX1 for complex data driven workloads
• Oversee initial customer onboarding ensuring automation, repeatability, and standardization across customer base
• Act as a key product stakeholder contributing to the product roadmap, prioritization, and architecture definition.
• Work closely with NX1 Product and Architecture team to define, design, and implement new Control Plane product features and entitlements

DevOps Engineer

• The Director of Customer Reliability Engineering owns NX1's customer reliability function end-to-end.
• Design and build the L1–L3 support model from scratch — tier definitions, escalation matrix, on-call rotation, SLA/SLO framework, and the AI-native layer that makes it scale
• Own 24x7 production support with hard SLAs across a growing enterprise customer base
• Build the knowledge management and runbook infrastructure that support engineers and AI agents both rely on
• Choose and configure the support tooling stack (ticketing, incident management, observability, status page) as deliberate design choices, not defaults
• Drive operational comms during incidents: P1 cadence, postmortems customers can read, written substance for executive escalations
• Provide credible L1–L3 support across both stacks.
• Design support tiers, on-call rotations, and capacity models that handle both stacks within a single operational frame
• Build the production operations function from scratch — for customer environments NX1 operates (Cloudera-customer book today, NX1-operated customers as they come online)
• Own platform upgrades end-to-end: scheduling, pre-upgrade testing in dev/staging, production execution, rollback discipline, change-management hygiene
• Own the monitoring and alerting infrastructure: what gets measured, what triggers an alert, what's automated, what escalates to a human, what's documented as a runbook vs. a one-pager exception
• Build the automation backbone: runbook execution automation, deploy/upgrade tooling, alert routing, escalation logic, automated remediation for known failure patterns.
• Hire and develop a team of support engineers and managed service engineers spanning US and India
• Build sustainable on-call practices — real geo coverage, comp-time discipline, escalation hygiene
• Protect the team from pre-sales pull; build the handoff model with sales and customer success that keeps support engineers focused

Director of Customer Reliability Engineering

Manager

• Solution delivery is the operative phrase. The work is: understand the customer's actual business problem, translate it into the requirements the NX1 platform and engineering team will solve for, design the engagement around that solution, and drive it to ground until the customer is winning.
• You are the buck-stops-here owner for whether NX1 delivers: the rollout program, the solution architecture and roadmap commitments, the documentation surface, the customer health signal at the engineering level, the margin against the engagement, and the loop back into engineering when the platform needs to evolve.
• A portfolio of 2–4 strategic NX1 accounts, $5–10M each in delivery / managed services revenue
• Gross margin management for the portfolio. You own the unit economics: cost-to-serve per account, scope discipline, hero-engineer-attrition risk, custom work that doesn't generalize. Margin is not finance's job to track — it's yours to manage, with finance providing the books.
• The P&L for those accounts — drive against deliverables AND against gross margin; surface risk on both before it's a number on the dashboard.
• The customer-side executive relationship: their VP of Data / CDO / CTO knows you by name and treats you as a peer, not a vendor.
• Renewal and expansion strategy, in partnership with the CRO — you don't carry quota, but you shape the conditions under which the customer grows.

Forward Deployed Engagement Manager

Technical Account Manager

• Be the NX1 technical voice across the customer's daily technical operations — architecture review boards, security reviews, design discussions, integration planning, platform governance forums
• Hold architectural credibility with the customer's senior engineers, architects, and platform team
• Translate between the customer's technical reality and NX1's engineering team
• Read design documents and ask the right questions
• Provide technical context that informs but does not replace the work of the Principal SA and the FDEM
• Own the NX1-side technical context for each account you cover
• Route customer-side technical escalations to the right resource at NX1
• Maintain working relationships with the customer's technical middle layer
• Support the AE/SAD on technical pre-renewal conversations and expansion-context preparation
• Navigate vendor governance at a major enterprise: third-party risk reviews, audit responses, change management, vendor due diligence
