About the role
- Conduct regular 1-on-1s, provide actionable feedback, and guide the career development of 7–9 engineers.
- Guide the team through complex architectural decisions across the full stack.
- You’ll ensure our React/Python/PostgreSQL environment remains robust, performant, and scalable as our manufacturing needs evolve.
- Partner with Manufacturing and other software teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements and user-focused features.
- Balance the immediate needs of the manufacturing floor with long-term technical health, ensuring the team stays focused on high-impact deliverables.
Requirements
- A strong foundation in full-stack development , with specific expertise in React, Python, PostgreSQL on AWS .
- You should be comfortable diving into the details of a database schema or code organization of backend microservices.
- You excel at understanding how software interacts with non-software systems.
- Experience in a startup or an environment involving physical hardware/manufacturing is a significant plus.
- You can explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders in Manufacturing and Hardware teams.
