About the role
- Oversee and perform estimating functions on major projects in the power sector, including wind, transmission, gas pipelines, solar, fossil, energy storage and distributed generation.
- Develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to estimating activities.
- Work with other project team members to assess project risk and cost exposure, during the development and execution phases.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED
- Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 8 years of experience in similar roles
- 8 years of experience with utility-scale energy projects, including renewable energy, power generation, and transmission infrastructure
- 8 years of experience with industry standards and best practices in project estimating and cost management
- 8 years of experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
- 4 years of experience with value engineering principles and practices
- 4 years of experience with construction methods, materials, and equipment
- 2 years of experience in management or supervisory role.
