About the role
- Lead internal strategy projects and strategy development for NextEra Energy’s Development organization.
- Support the creation and development of the annual corporate strategy presentations for the Development team.
- Conduct detailed market assessment to understand expected future demand and market drivers.
- Identify strategic opportunities that will drive growth and generate value.
- Assess current development pipeline and mismatch against targets to fill gaps.
- Collaborate with regional development leaders on critical business issues.
- Develop tactical execution next steps and operational enablers.
- Present progress on solutions to leadership with relevant analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate to identify critical issues and enhance project value.
- Provide thought leadership and execution support for renewable energy projects.
- Construct analytical frameworks for identified issues and lead problem-solving processes.
- Manage all aspects of business deal completions within budgetary constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience: 8+ years
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with deeply thought-out solutions
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven leader that builds trust and takes responsibilities for project outcomes
- High level of comfort with fast-paced and constantly evolving environments
- Intellectually curious individual who can learn new topics fast
- Highly organized and deadline driven individual
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
