About the role
- Close collaboration with the founding team on strategic and operational finance topics
- Active contribution to financials, reports & investor materials
- Support building an investor-ready set of numbers & KPIs
- High level of ownership & steep learning curve
- Analysis & preparation of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway, cohort analyses)
- Support with financial modeling (forecasts, scenarios, budgeting)
- Preparation & maintenance of investor-readiness materials (pitch decks, KPI sheets, data rooms, reporting structures)
- Market, competitor and benchmark analyses (SaaS, audit/QM, GRC)
- Support on strategic projects (pricing, GTM, expansion, tooling)
- Operational support for the founders’ day-to-day activities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or similar)
- Strong analytical and numbers-driven mindset
- Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, modeling, clean structure)
- Interest in startups, SaaS, VC, fundraising & company building
- High self-initiative, reliability & sense of ownership
- Excellent German (C2) & good English skills
- Availability of 15–20 hours per week
- Initial experience in startups, VC, consulting, finance or SaaS (nice-to-have)
- Basic understanding of SaaS business models (nice-to-have)
- Experience with BI tools, CRM data or financial reports (nice-to-have)
