About the role

  • Close collaboration with the founding team on strategic and operational finance topics
  • Active contribution to financials, reports & investor materials
  • Support building an investor-ready set of numbers & KPIs
  • High level of ownership & steep learning curve
  • Analysis & preparation of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway, cohort analyses)
  • Support with financial modeling (forecasts, scenarios, budgeting)
  • Preparation & maintenance of investor-readiness materials (pitch decks, KPI sheets, data rooms, reporting structures)
  • Market, competitor and benchmark analyses (SaaS, audit/QM, GRC)
  • Support on strategic projects (pricing, GTM, expansion, tooling)
  • Operational support for the founders’ day-to-day activities

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or similar)
  • Strong analytical and numbers-driven mindset
  • Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, modeling, clean structure)
  • Interest in startups, SaaS, VC, fundraising & company building
  • High self-initiative, reliability & sense of ownership
  • Excellent German (C2) & good English skills
  • Availability of 15–20 hours per week
  • Initial experience in startups, VC, consulting, finance or SaaS (nice-to-have)
  • Basic understanding of SaaS business models (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with BI tools, CRM data or financial reports (nice-to-have)
