About the role

  • Close collaboration with the founding team on strategic and operational finance topics
  • Active contribution to financials, reports & investor documents
  • Support in building investor-ready financials and KPI setup
  • High ownership and steep learning curve
  • Analysis and preparation of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway, cohort analyses)
  • Support for financial modeling (forecasts, scenarios, budgeting)
  • Preparation and maintenance of investor-readiness materials (pitch decks, KPI sheets, data rooms, reporting structures)
  • Market, competitor, and benchmark analyses (SaaS, audit/QM, GRC)
  • Support for strategic projects (pricing, GTM, expansion, tooling)
  • Operational support in the founders' day-to-day business

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a university program (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data-related fields, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and numbers-driven mindset
  • Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, modeling, clean structure)
  • Interest in startups, SaaS, VC, fundraising & company building
  • High initiative, reliability & sense of ownership
  • Very good German skills (C2) & good English skills
  • Availability of 15–20 hours per week
  • Nice-to-have: initial experience in startups, VC, consulting, finance, or SaaS
  • Basic understanding of SaaS business models
  • Experience with BI tools, CRM data, or financial reports
