About the role
- Assist with monitoring and managing compliance with insurance regulations across products and business units
- Help manage responses to Departments of Insurance on consumer complaints and compliance inquiries
- Monitor adherence to compliance policies through regular reviews, testing, and data analysis
- Identify potential policy violations or compliance breaches and escalate issues to the Head of Compliance
- Maintain organized documentation of policy versions, changes, and employee acknowledgments
- Help manage various regulatory filings (e.g. DOI, Licensing, SOS, etc)
- Maintain organized records and contribute to knowledge management to preserve compliance information
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing compliance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- BA/BS degree from a top university
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance compliance and/or regulation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to keep multiple balls in the area and make progress on all fronts
- Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Quick learner, rapidly adapts to new technology and concepts
- Strong accountability
