About the role
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including purchase and sales accounting, invoice management, payments, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including timely preparation and filing of appropriate documents to local authorities
- Analyze monthly financial results to ensure they accurately reflect the company’s operations and provide insights and forecasts to support business decisions
- Develop and improve accounting processes
- Handle all aspects of payroll accounting and ensure accurate processing
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support overall business expansion
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role, with a comprehensive understanding of full-cycle accounting (Chief Accountant experience is an advantage)
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong familiarity with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is an advantage
- High level of initiative, ability to work independently, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills with a strong aptitude for management and strategic planning
