Serve as the technical point of contact for ECR partners, merchants, and internal stakeholders during all stages of the integration project, providing expert guidance and support.
Directly execute integration tasks, including configuration, testing, deployment, and validation of payment terminal–ECR connectivity.
Directly engage with ECR partners and large merchants, to capture their specific needs, challenges, and objectives.
Set up test environments, simulate transaction flows, and validate end-to-end functionality using tools like Postman, terminal debuggers, or logs.
Install or remotely configure payment terminal firmware, communication settings (TCP/IP, Serial, USB), and software integrations as needed.
Lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for any integration failures, performance issues, or edge cases.
Collaborate closely with the product team to identify feature gaps or integration blockers, providing detailed feedback from real-world implementations.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, flow diagrams, and partner-specific setup guides.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training for internal support, engineering, and partner teams.
Requirements
3-5 years proven experience in a hands-on technical integration role in payments, fintech, or retail systems.
Strong working knowledge of ECR/POS systems and payment terminal APIs, particularly in retail, restaurants, and inventory management solutions.
Android debugging skills, with hands-on experience using tools such as ADB, Logcat, and the Android Studio Profiler from Android app installation to diagnose performance, crash, and connectivity issues.
Strong understanding of APIs and software integration processes.
Experience working with Android applications and cloud-based APIs.
Proficiency in communication protocols
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to customers and partners.
