About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain data center network infrastructure, including Cisco ACI fabric, routing, and switching at scale.
  • Manage and optimize F5 load balancing solutions, ensuring high availability and performance for critical payment services.
  • Operate and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols within and between data center environments.
  • Participate in group-wide network infrastructure projects, contributing local expertise while collaborating with engineers and architects across Nexi's international organization.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams across the group on network design reviews, capacity planning, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement across the data center network domain.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, and runbooks.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise or data center networking.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco ACI / SDN fabric design and operations.
  • Proven experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancing, including LTM and related modules.
  • Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and layer 2/3 routing protocols in multi-site environments.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with cloud networking on AWS or Azure.
  • Network automation skills using Python or similar scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements in a network context.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow for incident and change management.
