About the role

  • Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
  • Work with Development and Business community to define the scope of testing required
  • Create and execute functional test cases based on the business documentation of each project (module, SIT, UAT, regression testing phases)
  • Participate in test planning and preparing scripts of integration test execution
  • Prepare test execution reports
  • Monitor test environment readiness, testing case execution and defect information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Certifications at Engineering & Technology and/or Certifications or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years of related functional testing experience in component, SIT, UAT and regression test phases
  • Very good knowledge of testing tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, SQL Developer, Jira.
  • Previous IT development experience, preferably in the banking related sector (Core banking host systems (Issuing, Acquiring & Settlements) will be considered as an asset
  • Prior experience with Simulators Testing (Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Amex) will be considered as an asset
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Very good command of English language
