About the role

Analyze business and technical requirements related to payment systems and translate them into functional specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Product, Operations) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of payment solutions
Support the design and implementation of APIs and integration flows with banking and merchant systems
Monitor and troubleshoot payment processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation
Participate in testing phases, validating system behavior and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Document technical processes and maintain updated knowledge bases for internal use
Contribute to innovation initiatives, exploring emerging technologies in the PayTech space

5+ years of experience in technical analysis or IT consulting, preferably in the financial or payments sector
Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction flows, and related technologies (e.g., ISO 20022, SEPA, PSD2)
Experience with API design and integration (REST/SOAP)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) (bonus)
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools (bonus)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) (bonus)
Understanding of cybersecurity principles in payment systems (bonus)
Fluency in English and Italian (bonus)
