About the role
- Lead the Hyperbaric Program, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory bodies (e.g., Joint Commission, UHMS).
- Responsible for safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chambers and related support systems and equipment.
- Performs hyperbaric chamber and ancillary equipment operations and system maintenance as required.
- Serve as the center’s designated Safety Director.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, equipment, space, and supplies management.
- Run, process, and submit reports as required; making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met, including in-service training, staff competency at 90-days and annually, and staff certifications remain current.
- Manage staff, including but not limited to, staff schedule, handling performance evaluations, staff coaching & development, and disciplinary actions.
- Organize regular staff meetings to ensure communication and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient records, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and certification standards.
- Audit patient bills, review charges, process cash-pay payments, and support reimbursement efforts with payers.
- Collaborate with the company's revenue cycle team, ensuring timely and accurate charge entry and documentation.
- Conduct outreach to referral sources, schedule presentations, and track marketing efforts to drive patient volume and program growth.
- Support the center’s efforts to maximize program reimbursement, including holding staff and physicians accountable to ensure patient charts are accurate and signed daily.
- Tracks marketing efforts and census results against company goals established for each center.
- Consistently adheres to company and OSHA safety and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) by safeguarding patient information and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality standards.
- Will be responsible for participating in the onboarding and training of new team members.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently Licensed/Certified EMT, CNA, or CMA with state or national licensure/certification.
- Valid Driver's License with a positive driving history.
- A Chauffeur's License is required in some states.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved agency.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in hyperbaric oxygen therapy is required.
- Knowledge of hyperbaric codes, standards, and safety regulations required.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle.
- Proven leadership experience and success are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to treat others with compassion and patience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- All required licenses/certifications are to be maintained by the employee throughout the duration of employment.
