About the role
- Manage and optimize our clients' IT infrastructures as part of our Managed Services, including administration and maintenance of Windows environments, network components and database systems
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software at client sites to ensure a high-performance, reliable IT environment
- Provide second‑level support for customers' technical issues, delivering fast and sustainable solutions for complex IT problems
- Participate in customer-focused IT projects and take responsibility for your own projects to make clients' IT future-proof and efficient
- Proactively develop and optimize the overall IT infrastructure of our clients, continuously aligning it with their business requirements
- Develop and implement best practices for our Managed Services to promote standardization, security and efficiency and to ensure first-class service
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science (e.g., Technical Computer Science, Business Informatics) or vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, or equivalent qualifications – alternatively, extensive practical experience
- Initial professional experience in IT is a plus, but motivated career starters with solid knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Veeam, Microsoft Server operating systems and related services are also welcome
- Ability to act as an “IT translator” – communicate complex technical topics clearly, solution‑oriented and tailored to our clients
- Expertise in storage, virtualization and network firewalls is advantageous and valued in day‑to‑day work
- Basic experience with Unix-like operating systems (macOS, Linux) is a plus but not a prerequisite
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate professionally and confidently with our clients and partners
- Strong technical understanding, team spirit, enjoyment of troubleshooting and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, plus a willingness to continuously learn and develop
- Driving license class B for occasional customer visits and service calls
- Sense of humor
